CAMPUT

CAMPUT is a self-supporting, non-profit association of Canadian federal, provincial, and territorial energy and utility regulators. These boards and commissions are responsible for the regulation of the electric, water, gas, and pipeline utilities in Canada. Some CAMPUT members are also responsible for the regulation of matters such as automobile insurance.  CAMPUT also has three associate members.  You will find a complete listing of all members on this site.

The Purposes of CAMPUT

  • to improve public utility regulation in Canada; and
  • to improve the education and training of commissioners and staff of public utility tribunals.
